Bob Weinstein Net Worth $200 Million

Bob is the son of Max Weinstein and his wife Miriam; Bob was raised as a Jewish, alongside his older brother Harvey Weinstein. He grew up in Electchester, a housing co-op residence in New York. Little is known in the media about his education, however, right after college graduation, he and his brother started a Harvey & Corky Productions in Buffalo producing rock concerts, as both of them were avid music lovers. In the late 1970s, they decided to switch focus to films, and started Miramax Films – their debut venture was the film “The Secret Policeman`s Other Ball” (1982). The brothers stayed CEOs of Miramax until 2005, when they decided to leave the company, which was already in the hands of Disney, as the giant had bought the company from the brothers, thanks to their outstanding success.

In 1992, Bob started Dimension Films, and later took over the management after leaving Miramax, focused on producing horror films and thrillers, including “Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth” (1992), “From Dusk Till Dawn” (1996), “Hellraiser IV” Bloodline” (1996), “Scream” (1996), “Children Of The Corn IV: The Gathering” (1996), “Tale Of The Mummy” (1999), “Sin City” (2005), “Scary Movie 5” (2013), among many others, all of which increased Bob`s net worth by a large margin.
