Jaiz Bank Plc is a full-fledged non-interest bank operating in Nigeria. Truth is this is the first of such banks in the Nigerian banking system. It is also the only one as at now. Others may however come up later.
The bank has grown in leaps and bounds since it started operation. As at today, number of branches has increased to 14. One of the latest branches opened by the bank is the Jaiz Bank branch located at Kano Kabuga branch.
The branch in question is located within the Bayero University and it is expected to provide non-interest banking opportunity to the Kabuga commercial area as well as the university community.
When it all started, Jaiz Bank could only boast of 3 branches, which were located in three cities in Nigeria, namely, Kano, Kaduna and Abuja. Its operation actually began on 6th of January 2012 following its being awarded license of operation by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The bank has up to 3 different branches in Abuja. They also have four branches in Kano.
